About Me

For as long as I can remember I've been a mover and a seeker! Always asking questions, trying new things and exploring what my body and mind can do.

Even as a child I believed that our potential was limitless. If I wasn't at a gymnastics competition or performing in a show, I'd be at home trying to move pencils with my mind! 🤣

The yoga part of my journey began 28 years ago when my teenage self moved to London to train as a dancer at LCDS. This most incredible school had Yoga and Tai Chi as part of the curriculum, reaffirming a lifelong love for mindful movement and the exploration of mind-body connection.

I continued my training in Martial Arts (Thai Boxing, Shaolin Kung Fu) and practiced yoga in various studios and gyms. I loved it AND I also felt like something was missing. I was experiencing lots of anxiety and depressive episodes, and often lacked a sense of belonging or self confidence. My practices helped and I was 'doing yoga' but I was still struggling in the real world...

It was when I took my first yoga teacher training that I truly started to understand just how powerful yoga is. How it can offer us a sanctuary - a way to release burden, and stay connected with the peace and magic that's always inside us. Yoga teaches us not just how to move with grace but how to live with it, even in the face of hardship and uncertainty.

Through this deeper dive to the philosophy and rich history of Yoga, I realised that yoga is not actually a thing that we do, but is really a way of being. This was when my life truly changed! I noticed huge shifts in my mental and emotional health.

I still have ups and downs, of course, but it's like I'm surfing the waves now, not drowning in them!

This journey of transformation inspired me to share yoga with others. And it's my mission to make sure that EVERYONE HAS ACCESS TO ALL OF THE BENEFITS.

The wisdom behind the teachings have so much to offer us and I just love to continue learning and sharing. I want us all to live with more self love & acceptance, more compassion, courage and authenticity. I want us all to feel that deep sense of belonging that I now feel. We are all worthy of it. No matter what we have believed until now.

About Warrior Heart Yoga

Living with a Warrior's Heart

The Warrior’s journey is one of inner transformation. It requires courage to not only confront external challenges, but also our own fears, doubts and limiting beliefs. The true Warrior’s battle is not one of conquest over others but of cultivating authenticity, letting go of our self imposed burdens, and embracing the full spectrum of life with an open heart.

Living with a warrior’s heart means finding the balance between action and surrender, strength and gentleness. It's about showing up for ourselves and others, even when the path is difficult. It's about tapping into our inner strength and using it to create positive change, for ourselves and in the world around us.

And it can feel kind of rebellious!

As we've come so far from our true nature, and we're so conditioned to think we're not enough. Not good enough, worthy enough, pretty enough, young enough.. you get the picture!

Yoga, and other wisdom teachings, show us how to stand firmly in our own light. To know the true essence of who we are and to be unapologetically ourselves. They teach us to reject the notion that we must constantly change or conform to the expectations of others.

Discipline, humility, and authenticity are central to the Warrior’s journey, and by facing life’s challenges with clarity and compassion, the Warrior cultivates the resilience to grow and the grace to let go.

Warrior Heart Yoga invites you to embrace this path of mindful living. To reconnect with your inner strength, awaken your potential, and create positive change in your own life and the world around you.
